Genevieve is a teenage girl who moves in with her aunt in Alaska after the death of her mother. Soon after her arrival she learns the things she was raised to believe only existed in fairytales are in fact a big part of her history. When it gets to be too much she seeks refuge in the arms of her new boyfriend, William, only to find out he's not who she thought he was either.
It is also a personal pet peeve of mine when authors use the same phrases when their characters are saying something….for example “he said, not unkindly”. If he said it rudely than at that point say he said it with force…or use explanation points…maybe explain the persons facial expressions when they are saying it….but to say “not unkindly” drives me BONKERS!
So you see, unfortunately this was not my cup of tea…but if you are someone who enjoys the supernatural teenage drama, than this book is for you!
